A collaborative piece done with Christian Hernandez in progress. Can’t wait ’til it’s finished. This painting is currently in Christians hands, so it’s his turn to work on it, hopefully we can hang it in the next show! We’re toying around with the idea of getting a couple other people in on it, too. Let’s see how many we can get!

I recently had the honor of painting The Hive Gallery’s bathroom in Downtown LA. Three days and nights of absolute madness in the bathroom, I enjoyed every second of it. Now I’m working on sketches for different murals around town because I can’t get enough of large spaces. This was the first chance I had to paint an entire space, I’ve painted large logos and images before but never entire rooms.
So wonderful.

Wow, I just found this picture taken at the Blockley and for the first time I got to see how awesome the logo I painted looks. I never got to see it in this lighting and I’m pretty happy about it. It feels good to leave your mark on such a legendary venue in your hometown (it used to be The Chestnut Cabaret), someday I’d love to go back and maybe do some more work for them.
It’s a total of 12 ft long and painted in acrylic.
